Who Makes It

Shards of Stone is made and operated by Adam Sturrock, an independent developer. The story of the project is on the About page.

How Generative AI Is Used

Shards of Stone is made by one person working with generative AI tools. The code is written with AI coding assistants. The art, 3D models, music, voices and sound effects are generated with AI tools. Adam decides what goes in. The tools are named on the About page.

Two optional features generate content while you play: the AI commander, which is driven by an AI service, and its spoken replies. Neither runs unless you turn it on.
