Current version: 0.3.4 (read this first)

The current version is 0.3.4, released on 7 September 2026.

How updates reach you

• Browser: the site always runs the latest build, which is usually a bit ahead of the numbered version. Refresh and you have it.
• Desktop app: it checks for an update when it launches and installs it. Get it from /download if you haven't.
• Linux: the AppImage updates itself. The .deb doesn't, so reinstall that one from the download page.
• Mac: the app isn't notarised yet, so the first launch needs right-click, then Open.

If you installed the desktop app back in March and it never updated, that's my fault. Auto-update didn't work until 0.2.8 in August. Download it again and it'll look after itself from now on.

What's in here

Each version gets its own thread: release date, highlights, then the changes. Between versions there are dev updates, plus a "Coming in the next update" thread for work that isn't in a release yet.

The older notes were moved over from the dev log, so they keep their original dates.

Found a bug?

Post it in Bug Reports. It helps most if you say which version you're on, browser or desktop, 2D or 3D, and what you did just before it went wrong.
