#1Not a numbered release, so desktop players get this in the next version. The browser has all of it now.
I found some footage from early this year while looking for something else. It's been quite a year for the Dwarves.

Since 0.3.8
- Custom maps can run code, and it works in multiplayer. More
- Cities of Stone, a city builder, is on the main menu. More
- Spells look like what they are. Cones blast out of the caster, and drains pull from the victim into the caster.
- Roots and chains hold their target, shields wrap the unit, heals fall or rise, curses sink in, dashes streak and leaps arc.
- Sixteen hero ultimates draw a ward written in their faction's runes.
- Colour: frost leaves rime, shadow bolts fly violet, and every hero's spells have a shade of their own.
- Shots and strikes land where they hit. A bolt flies to its target and bursts on the body, not on the floor.
- The AI marches its army as one group, and takes the road round creep camps instead of walking into them.
- The AI keeps teching up and running its economy after it upgrades its hall.
- An AI that starts next to a creep camp no longer dies in its first five minutes.
- Animation fixes: staffs and polearms stay out of the floor on 36 units, and 18 heroes stop thrashing their arms or flipping their weapons.
- Forum avatars now show the avatar you picked, animated if it's animated on your profile.

More of the spells get looks of their own, and I'm still working through the list of units that animate badly. If one bothers you, post it in this thread.
